Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. (Proverbs 22:6) We believe that training children and teens is a very important element of spiritual development. We fully acknowledge the role of parents in spiritual development is primary and the church is only intended to augment what the parents teach at home. Children have been entrusted by God to their parents, not to the church. The church has an important role to play nonetheless. At Craigs Church, we try to provide age-appropriate teaching for all ages. In the case of children and youth, that includes subject matter as well. We intend to provide excellent teaching for the spiritual development of our young people with a focus on application, not just hearing some words from a teacher. We want to see the content that is taught being lived as well.
